To the over caffeinated go the spoils!

The Spoils of Comic Con

That’s another Comic Con wrapped up – Over 29,000 people attended Glasgow MCM last weekend which was a bit busier than I expected after last year. I’ll be reviewing everything I bought over the next few weeks however there is a sneak peek of the reviews to come below if you want to check them out.

When I wasn’t busy oohing over the comic village I managed to fit in a couple of web series panels – Cops and Monsters (check out their wordpress site here) and Caledonia (you can view the episodes here). I’ll be watching these in a few weeks, keep an eye out for follow up reviews

While traveling home from Glasgow I stumbled across Jim Butchers new series Cinder Spires (The 1st book in the new series is The Aeronaut’s Windlass) which i had to buy, I’ll hopefully be reviewing soon.

On a final note i have to give a shout out to Starbucks Sauchiehall St – Last weekend i tried my first ever pumpkin spice latte and it blew my geeky little mind. I drank 4 of those bad boys over 2 and a half days which might account for my over enthusiastic approach to the con this year. Seriously please go try a pumpkin spice latte if you haven’t already had one.

Thats it for now – I’ll be working on the reviews and will upload some as soon as i can

Did you go to MCM Glasgow? What was your favourite moment/comic/artist? Let me know in the comments
